For example, Americans say that a rooster sounds like, "Cock-a-doodle doo!" while Germans say, "Kikeriki!" Every country has different sounds, and we've recorded over a hundred for you to experience.
Simply touch a flag to hear that country's version of the animal you see on the screen. Swipe to change the animal and to hear the actual animal sound.
Animatopoeia is designed to allow people around the world to experience foreign languages in a new, fun, and interesting way. Users can listen to the onomatopoeia of animals spoken by natives of many countries. Animatopoeia promotes understanding of other cultures and respect toward animals.
