Hype Machine Radio IPA 1.2

Hype Machine Radio IPA 1.2

Hype Machine Radio IPA 1.2
Description
Hype Radio turns music blogs into radio stations.
Discover new music from hundreds of the best music blogs around the world.

This is The Hype Machine evolved into a lean back, non-stop rich radio experience. The app differs from the site with an even sharper focus on discovering new music - we've de-emphasized ways to go back to familiar artists or songs.

There is no artist search, on-demand playback, but you won't miss a thing. Your favorites are still in the app, but they are mixed with what the blogs you follow are posting, so that you keep finding something new.

Features include:
★ Radio-style playback of new songs discussed by blogs
★ Original artwork from the post, and the ability to read each blog post behind the music.
★ Every blog in our list (http://hypem.com/blogs), from popular blogs like Stereogum, Said The Gramophone, and Gorilla vs Bear, to under-the-radar gems like NYC Taper, Doklands, and ISO50.
★ Offline mode if you are in the UK lets you listen to radio stations while on the tube or without service
★ Scrobbling to Last.fm, if you have enabled it in your Hype Machine account

Hundreds of stations:
★ LATEST: Music that’s being talked about right now.
★ POPULAR: Tracks that are getting the most buzz around The Hype Machine
★ GENRE STATIONS: Latest tracks posted on blogs sorted by genre
★ RADIO SHOW: Highlighting the month’s best new music.
★ BLOG DIRECTORY: All the music blogs we track, browsable by genre or alphabetically

Personalized stations
★ MY MIX: a combined mix from your favorite blogs, and your favorites on the Hype Machine
★ MY FRIENDS: a mix of music your friends are favoriting

The Hype Machine keeps track of what music bloggers write about and presents what they discuss for easy consumption and discovery.

We’ve been introducing people to breaking new artists and influential music blogs since 2005, and have been featured in Wired, The Guardian, Washington Post, Billboard, Popular Science, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Business 2.0, G4TV, and more.

"No other app I’ve tested recently introduced me to as much new music that I’ve liked yet never heard before as Hype Radio — and I’ve been looking."
-Eliot Van Buskirk (Wired, Evolver.fm)
